Country Collection brings in donations to Mendota Area Christian Food Pantry

MENDOTA – The annual Country Collection, held this year at Sullivan’s Foods in Mendota, brought in hundreds of pounds of food and monetary donations to the Mendota Area Christian Food Pantry. On Saturday, shoppers donated around 300 lbs. of food and over $250 in cash to the Mendota pantry. Sponsors of the event included Prescott Brothers of Mendota, who provided the truck, and supporters the Law Offices of Peter F. Ferracuti and Taco’s Guzman. Host Sullivan’s Foods helps promote this event every year, with a live broadcast from Shaw Local Radio stations WGLC and Q Hit Music.
