ILVY Dolphins swimmers compete at Nationals

GREENSBORO, NC — Nolan Deats and Owen Phillips of the ILVY Dolphins Swim Team competed at the Nationals swim meet in Greensboro, North Carolina last week.  Both boys are seniors and they were on their second trip to Nationals.  Deats is the first ILVY Dolphins swimmer to make podium at Nationals, placing 16th in the 200 butterfly.
Deats is a senior at Flanagan High School and is undecided at this time which college he will swim for.  Phillips is a senior at Ottawa High School and is committed to Whitewater College in Wisconsin.
While there Deats competed in the 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and the 200 butterfly.  Phillips competed in the 200 breaststroke, 50 freestyle, and 100 breaststroke.
