PERU – The Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce will be welcoming two new members to their board of directors. It was announced that Dr. Clayton Theisinger and Heather Hammitt will be joining the chamber. Dr. Theisinger brings over 10 years of experience in education to the board and is currently the Director of Teaching and Learning at L-P Township High School. Heather Hammitt is current past president for the Illinois Valley Society for Human Resource Management and has over 20 years of HR and corporate communication experience.
