Firefighters honored for baby delivered in ambulance

PRINCETON – The Princeton Fire Department honored two of their own for delivering a baby in the back of an ambulance. Firefighter and Paramedic Patrick Blackert and Firefighter/EMT Cael Davis were inducted into the department’s Fraternal Order of the Stork. They were transporting a woman in active labor in late December when the child was born before they could get to the Peru hospital.
