PERU – NCI ARTworks will be hosting an exhibit of the work of David Anderson and Nancy Nieslawski on Friday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the west wing entrance of the Westclox Building. Numerous pieces of their original work will be on display throughout the month. Both prints and original work will also be available for purchase. David Anderson, an Ottawa native, has been photographing the natural beauty of the area since 2001, where he first encountered the beautiful wildflowers found at Starved Rock State Park. He also teaches a one-day wildflower photography class in April for IVCC’s continuing education program. Nancy Nieslawski creates nature-inspired arts and crafts. Her current focus is photography, where she digitally manipulates images to create interesting, vivid representations of ordinary objects.
