Deltona, FL — An officer in Deltona, Florida stopped a vehicle for a routine traffic stop because the vehicle had an expired tag. During the stop the officer found that the passenger was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear on prior drug charges. The passenger was also carrying 22.2 grams of methamphetamine and 6.2 grams of fentanyl, as well as more than $13,000 cash tucked away in a small safe on the seat. The passenger was charged with trafficking in fentanyl and meth, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
