MINOT, N.D. – Gatorade partnered with Bishop Ryan Catholic School’s Varsity Boys Basketball to offer a $10,000 Gatorade Halftime Shootout, sponsored by Northern Bottling of Minot. Seventh grader JJ Franks entered his ticket and was chosen for the challenge. He had to make a layup, free-throw, three-pointer, and a half-court shot consecutively to win the challenge. won $10,000 after hitting a half-court shot during a halftime event. Franks was able to bank all four shots in 25 seconds, sending the gym into a frenzy! He said he is going to hold onto the money and save it for college.
