A Woman Is Busted Trying to Sell a Stolen Ring Back to the Jewelry Store It Was Stolen From

This woman couldn’t have just gone to a pawn shop? A 47-year-old woman named Alice Henry went into a jewelry store in Winter Haven, Florida last week to try to sell them a ring.  She said she’d found it using a metal detector on the beach. But when an employee inspected it, the ring didn’t have any of the damage they’d expect if it had been on a beach.  And the ring also looked JUST like one that was stolen from that same store during a burglary in July. And it turns out . . . yep, that’s what it was.  This woman tried to sell a stolen ring back to the jewelry store she’d stolen it from. She’s facing felony charges for grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
