PRINCETON- A Princeton man is dead after a fatal motorcycle crash Tuesday evening. According to the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office, around 7:30 PM they were called to Lover’s Lane Road West of South Main Street in Princeton for an SUV vs motorcycle crash. Witnesses say the motorcycle was following a car eastbound and allegedly tried to pass and collided head on with an SUV heading westbound. The motorcyclist, identified by the Bureau County Coroner’s Office as 30-year-old Stephan J. Nelson, was taken to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The accident remains under investigation by the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department and the Bureau County Coroner’s Office.
