OTTAWA – Many area communities are preparing for the start of outdoor dining at restaurants by closing streets. Ottawa announced Main and Jefferson Street will have lane closures, and portions of Madison, Jackson and Walker will be closed completely to allow for tables to be placed for area businesses. Utica decided to close Mill Street completely in the heart of the community to give plenty of space for social distancing. Peru Mayor Scott Harl said Tuesday that they would be working with retailers and restaurants to make parking lots and streets available.
