LaSalle Dumpster for Perished Food

The city of LaSalle will have a dumpster placed in the parking lot on the north side of Maple Street near Hegeler Park for any LaSalle resident needing to dispose of perished food starting Thursday morning until Friday afternoon.

This dumpster is to be used strictly for perished food as a result of recent power outages and not for yard waste or general trash.

We appreciate your patience as we continue canvasing the streets to pick up branches from the side of the road, as we will continue to do for a few weeks.

We ask that the branches be no longer than six feet long and no thicker than three inches. We ask that you place the branches with their butt ends towards the street to aid the pickup crews. LaSalle residents can also take their branches to the drop-off site near Oakwood Cemetery on the way to Rotary Park.

We’ve noticed an improvement in the appearance of the streets in a relatively short amount of time and are thankful for the neighbors that have pitched in to help one another as we continue cleaning up the community.
