DULUTH – Landlord Travis Lee Carlson of Duluth allegedly set his apartment on fire intentionally. Neighbors were woken up around 3:30 am, hearing sounds of glass being smashed. A little after 4 am first responders arrived and saw flames jumping from the upstairs apartment and could hear Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire”. Not only did he allegedly smash windows and start the fire, he was seen by a neighbor under his truck with gas cans and then going in and out of the house. Authorities found a hole drilled into the gas tank of his truck and a drill laying on the ground nearby.
