LASALLE-PERU, IL — The Lady Cavs varsity softball team beat Morton last night 14-3. Freshman Taylor Vescogni received the complete game win for her first start in a varsity game, only giving up five hits while also striking out eight batters. Ava Lambert scored a homerun during the game and Addie Duttlinger batted a triple.
