A 30-year-old man from Missouri admitted to robbing a bank earlier this year after handing a teller a note written in pink highlighter. The note was on the back of his birth certificate.
At the time of the robbery he was also wearing an active ankle monitor, related to another case.
He later to authorities that he had gotten into a fight with his lover and was trying to prove a point. He’s facing up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
