SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced the names of their two newest snowplows, Orange Crush and Scoopy Doo. The winning names were submitted by fairgoers at this year’s Illinois State Fair. The event drew close to 700 suggestions, with the two finalists being chosen through a statewide employee vote. Visitors at the fair were also encouraged to sign the blades that Orange Crush and Scoopy Doo will sport this winter.
