Traffic stop leads to cocaine arrest in Ottawa

OTTAWA – An early morning traffic stop in Ottawa led to an arrest for cocaine on Tuesday. The Ottawa Police Department say they stopped a vehicle allegedly speeding around 2:00 AM on Marquette Street. During the investigation, they discovered between 1 and 15 grams of purported cocaine. Taken into custody was 48-year-old Joseph L. Reynolds of Ottawa. He was charged with felony Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to deliver and taken to the LaSalle County Jail. Reynolds is being held on a $500,000 bond.
