PONTIAC – Twenty more residents of Livingston County and eight inmates at Pontiac Correctional Center have tested positive for COVID-19. Sadly, one more resident has also died due to complications related to COVID-19. The individual was a male in his 80s. All of the newly infected are recovering in isolation. Just 52 active cases are in the county, with one person hospitalized. Since the pandemic began, there have been 10 Livingston County residents who have died from complications from COVID-19.
